Healthy Meal suggestions for Ruby Tuesday

Over priced. Ate there the other night and service was HORRIBLE. there were literally 6 other people in the entire place. They were out of biscuits and had to wait on the waitress to make them herself (so she said as to why she forgot about us) didn't get drink refills when asked. I had to walk up to the bar and ask for a refill for my drink after waiting for 15 minutes and my meal pretty much gone. I ordered the New Orleans Cajun pasta and it basically was noodles sitting in a lot of spicy oil of some sort. Very greasy and I wasn't impressed. The sauce was grease/oil. They wouldn't give us the military discount because they said only one discount can be used and I had a coupon. It was on Veterans Day too. Had we known, we would have went where we could have actually received a free meal! Anyway, poor service, food over priced. Salad bar isn't as good as I once remember it being. It wasn't full and lime I said the place was dead and the servers were sitting at the bar doing nothing. Couldn't even take care of the few customers that were in there. They need some new management or leadership or something.

This Ruby Tuesday is consistently disappointing. The food is very bland and often with salt and pepper still has little flavor. you can prepare better boxed meals from the grocery store. We went on a Sunday afternoon at lunch time and the salad bar was under stocked. The manager had to go to the grocery store to get more ranch dressing as they were out. It took over an hour to get our food. I was hoping they had changed but this is a usual experience. There are plenty of other good places to eat nearby. I'd recommend almost anything else in the area.

I like Ruby Tuesday's elsewhere, but this one is horrible. The food was awful. Whatever I was given was not the same recipe that I have at all the rest. Odd I know. I will never go to this one again.

Great service and the food was good for a fair price. The restaurant was very clean and the seating was comfortable. Loved the salad bar that can be added to any meal for a small price. I had the hickory bourbon glazed pork chop, and upgraded the mash potato to a fully loaded baked potato. The food was really good, but the pork chop might be even better without the glaze. Was thanked twice for coming to dine and invited to come again soon, and I will be for sure.

This place service is horrible! I went to this place on a Saturday evening with my party of 4. I was very surprise to see the parking lot not even half full. We were seated immediately and told our waitress would be here soon. There was no more than 10 total ppl in the restaurant. After 5 mins, the hostess realized that our waitress had not attended to us, so the hostess ask what would we like to drink. Then later the hostess took our order. Soon the waitress came by and ask where we ok. She never introduced herself. When she brought the food she, she had no idea who ordered what. She held the plates out as if she expected us to reach for the hot plates. Then when she picked up the plates, she did the same as if we should pass the plates to her. This could have been a bad waitress however, the restaurant seem poorly managed with untrained staff. I won't be returning which is sad because I really love Ruby Tuesday. Pros- The food was well cooked and delicious. Good job cooks!

Ruby Tuesdays' always makes yer mouth water, on TV....YUP! Years ago, I saw a commercial for Mini-Burgers, and had to try them. I was served these dinner roll sized buns with a thin, burnt piece of meat the size of a half-dollar coin...diameter, and thickness. I swore I would never be back. Flash forward to May, 2014....Grandaughter wants PawPaw to take her out to...you guessed it...Ruby Tuesdays', for her birthday. PawPaw has already tangled with Ruby Tuesday beefage...how 'bout some shrimpage? Plated, the meal looks great. Fine quantity of shrimp and fries with some ketchup-catsup, or whatever ya wanna call it, and some brown colored sauce...no cocktail sauce:-( I tasted the shrimp and it was mush. Absolutely NO texture=prebattered, frozen shrimp. Hey, this is Louisiana! The only place that sells that is Popeyes Chicken...go figger... Waitress comes by and asked if everything was OK, and I said no. I told her that the shrimp was not to my liking, and she told me that I could run down the block to the Taco Bell. BOOM! PawPaw was pissed, but held his mouth in check for Grandbabies sake. Manager was very gracious, took the entree off the tab. I wish her well, and I know, as she grows into her trade, she will run a fine house one day. She is the reason for the star!

Only 6 tables seated in the entire 50+ tables resturant, and didnt get a server for just drinks until 15 minutes after being seated. Off to a bad start can't wait to see what the food like.

I went here with a friend and her 18 month old son. When we walked in, they greeted us and even held the door open. Being a former Ruby Tuesdays employee back home, I knew this was just something we were told to do. So anyways we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly. We got two appetizers. They came out pretty quick and were made without any issues. I got the southwest spring rolls, which always come out way too hot, but they came out at a perfect temperature at this location and I didn't have to wait for them to cool down. We then ordered our main meals and they came out fairly quick as well. There was no waiting time between appetizer and main course. All the while, our server checked on us at perfect intervals. I don't like when servers are constantly checking on you as you eat, this woman was very nice and helpful and she wasn't always up in our business. The only down side was the drinks. I had ordered the strawberry mango margarita and my friend had the watermelon one. Mine had way too much syrup, hers had almost no flavor and all alcohol. Now if you wanted to get drunk off a $7 drink, hers would have been great. But being as we were with her son in the middle of the day, it wasn't very appropriate for the time being... Lol. Mine was just too sweet and too much of the syrup consistency that I didn't bother finishing it. Overall, even though I've heard some horror stories about the Ruby Tuesdays in Bossier/Shreveport, I had a pretty good experience that I wasn't expecting. Maybe because it wasn't a busy night or I just lucked out, but I would go back to this location in the future.

We went to Ruby Tuesday's today because Texas Roadhouse was packed. Big mistake. It was a horrible experience from start to finish. I called ahead to get seats, and the rest of our party beat us to the restaurant. When we got there the hostess looked confused that we found our seats. Okay I give them that, we just went and sat down at our table maybe we should have let her know what we were doing. My complaint was that she was rude and unhelpful about it. The table we sat at was butted against the wall, and there was very little room to maneuver chairs, this normally would be no problem, but I specifically said we have an infant car seat, please accommodate. Not only did they not bother to accommodate, they didn't even put the tables together. It was very unprofessional. After we got situated the waiter never came by, so another waitress covered for him, for a bit. Took forever to get menus, then took forever to get drinks, then drinks got messed up. No straws Yak yak yak, normal annoying stuff. Keep in mind this whole time we are dealing with the sub-in waitress, who is trying to vouch for the absent waiter. Finally he takes our orders, and forgets to pick up our menus. I am usually sympathetic to waiters as they can be very busy, but the place was practically empty. It seemed like canyons of time between his visits. Another waiter brings us our food, and when we ask for ketchup and silverware, his attitude was "that's not my problem your waiter will come around." The sub-in waitress brought us our drink refills by us having to hunt her down and ask, but she brought them in weird little glasses...whatever no ice but my wife and I didn't care at least we got something. I must say the food was pretty good, but it didn't trump the service. The icing on the cake was after it took forever to get our checks, it took forever to get them collected to the point we didn't even bother. We just got up and gave our cards to the hostess to pay for it. Keep in mind the place was nearly empty! I give the Ruby Tuesday on Airline drive in bossier city, LA a 1-star for horrible customer service.

Service much better, friendly managers, and inviting dining rooms. Wait staff has gotten extremely better, all new people! The food was prepared fast and perfect to order. I understand that there can't be much seasoning on most items because of the food allergies, but overall good food. Give this store a chance. Heard they just got a new manager and wait staff.

This place is bad. Beer was flat, warm. Tasted like their lines were dirty. Then the Asian dumplings came out with no sauce and over fried. Our main courses were over cooked and bland. Steak was over cooked and the lobster looked like a homeless guy cooked it over a trash can fire. This place has been constantly bad. This was my last time. Our waitress barley came around and was absent minded. Avoid and save your money.
